This needs to be mastered like bad. It sounds good, but so distorted and peaking.

Other then that it sounds pretty decent.

I feel that the beginning took to long to actually get me interested in the song. Maybe try and shorten that. The main synth/melody I think should be changed to something more saw like. Also you need to put some reverb on the hi hats and snares for a more real sound. Also for the hi hat you could vary the level of sound between drum kicks so like lo hi lo hi. This song has potential, just needs some more work. If you want to collab shoot me a message.

I liked it, honestly I wouldn't say it was hip hop. Id say it sounds closer to house honestly. Just the way the beat felt. Had the hat in the backround, snare, kick etc.

weeell I'm going to have to disagree with you strongly on that one, as house music usually spans from 125-135bpm... this is 88bpm and the beat you're listening to is strongly influenced by boombap. :D

maybe it's not oldskool hip-hop though. but it's definitely not house :D.
